Tra Banca del Chianti Fiorentino e Banca Monteriggioni la fusione è diventata realtà.

Lunedì 7 giugno 2010 la firma, a Siena, del documento ufficiale che sancisce la fusione per unione tra Banca del Chianti Fiorentino e Banca Monteriggioni; mercoledì 16 l’iscrizione al registro delle imprese, con la quale l’atto diventa a tutti gli effetti efficace.
Il ‘passaggio’ è avvenuto a seguito dell’approvazione ricevuta dalle rispettive assemblee dei soci, che si sono espresse favorevolmente rispetto all’operazione, dando via libera alla fusione.
La realtà che nasce dall’unione tra Banca del Chianti Fiorentino e Banca Monteriggioni è un soggetto solido, affidabile ed in grado di porsi come interlocutore forte per operatori economici, imprese e famiglie di un territorio vasto, che si estende da Firenze a Siena. Un’area storicamente divisa ma che, per la prima volte, la nuova Banca sarà in grado di unire sotto il segno dell’attenzione alle necessità delle comunità locali.
Il nuovo soggetto è composto, in partenza, da una rete complessiva di 28 sportelli, 229 dipendenti, oltre 5.300 soci ed una raccolta diretta pari a circa 1,2 miliardi di euro.
Un nuovo istituto di credito – figlio di due realtà simili come dimensioni e numero di soci, oltre che forti ed economicamente sane – che mette in comune le risorse per rafforzare il posizionamento competitivo, attraverso una presenza ed una diffusione ancora più capillare sul territorio.
